CMVS – CORPEX Machine Vision System

The CORPEX Machine Vision System (CMVS) combines advanced vision and AI technology to measure outside diameter, convolution pitch, and product length with exceptional accuracy, even at line speeds up to 80 ft/min. Live feedback supports process control by providing continuous measurement data and clear visual alerts when deviations occur.

Puckering Detection System

When armor layers compress unevenly, cable puckering occurs, causing dimensional instability and rework. CORPEX’s hybrid AI and vision system detects puckering as it forms, distinguishing between true defects and false positives. The system combines visual inspection with AI interpretation to provide reliable fault identification before quality issues occur.

EMVS – Environmental Machine Vision System

EMVS provides product and reel inspection for armored cable manufacturing lines. It detects missing armor, distorted product, or missing sections while improving workplace safety through human detection in the inspection zone. The optional Thermo Inspection Module adds infrared monitoring to identify lubrication and tooling issues before they affect production.

Copper Taping Inspection

The Copper Taping Vision System ensures precise overlap and pitch control on high-speed taping lines operating up to 200 ft/min. It measures outside diameter, pitch, and overlap percentage in real time to detect missing tape or winding variations.
