DETECT ESP CABLE PUCKERING WHILE THE CABLE IS RUNNING.
CORPEX combines machine vision and AI to inspect armored Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) cable during production, detecting puckering and cable profile changes before more affected product is manufactured.

Detect while production is running
Detect what conventional inspection can miss.
Puckering occurs when an armored cable layer compresses unevenly, creating bulges, ripples or changes in the cable profile. The cable may appear acceptable until tension makes the dimensional difference more visible.
By then, additional cable may already have been produced. In-line machine vision gives operators visibility while the cable is still moving through production, allowing developing conditions to be identified earlier.
See the difference. Make the decision.
CORPEX analyzes cable geometry and visible surface characteristics as the ESP cable moves through production, identifying conditions that require operator attention.
ESP Cable Puckering Detected
Cable geometry or visible surface characteristics fall outside the expected condition and are flagged for operator attention.
ESP Cable Within Expected Condition
The measured profile and inspected surface remain within established inspection parameters.
Measure the change. Analyze the condition.
Machine vision measures changes in the cable profile. AI analysis helps determine whether those changes represent a meaningful defect condition.
Inspect Continuously
Cameras capture the ESP cable surface while production continues.
Find Profile Variation
Machine vision measures dimensional and visible profile changes in the moving cable.
Evaluate Puckering
AI helps distinguish meaningful puckering from normal product variation.
Alert & Record
Inspection results can be presented to operators and stored for traceability.
Turn inspection into production intelligence.
CORPEX gives production and quality teams more than a defect signal. Inspection data can support measurement, traceability and integration with the wider manufacturing environment.
Dimensional Inspection
Monitor outside diameter and other measurable ESP cable characteristics associated with profile variation.
Surface Defects
Identify puckering, deformation and other visible abnormalities as armored ESP cable moves through production.
Production Intelligence
Store inspection history for traceability and connect inspection information with CMVS, SCADA, MES and OPC environments.
Inspect more than one cable condition.
Puckering is the focus of this application, but the same machine vision platform can monitor other measurable and visible conditions during cable production.
